Description

Appearance and flowering

The gracefully cascading crown develops above the 200cm stem, meaning the total height of the tree is greater than 200cm. In spring, the branches are covered with abundant double pink flowers. The fresh green foliage develops attractive yellow and orange shades in autumn.

Position and planting

Plant in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. This ornamental cherry is ideal as a specimen tree in lawns, entrance areas, spacious flower beds and landscaped gardens.

Care

Water regularly during the first growing season and during prolonged dry periods. Mulching helps retain soil moisture. Prune lightly after flowering only when necessary, removing damaged, dead or crossing branches.
