Juniperus horizontalis 'Andorra Compacta' 20-25cm

Appearance and Development

Juniper 'Andorra Compacta' is a low, dense shrub with a height of about 20-25 cm and a width of up to 1 m. The leaves are needle-like, with a dark green color that retains its freshness throughout the year.

Suitable Place and Application

This shrub is ideal for rock gardens, ground cover, or as part of borders. It can also be used for planting in containers on terraces and balconies. Its compact form makes it suitable for small gardens and limited spaces.

Growing Conditions

The juniper prefers sunny spots but can adapt to partial shade. The soil should be well-drained, and watering should be moderate, especially during dry periods. The plant is resistant to various climatic conditions, but standing water around the roots should be avoided.

Planting and Care

When planting, it is important to provide enough space between plants to avoid overcrowding. Watering after planting is necessary to support the plant's adaptation. Pruning is not necessary, but can be done to maintain shape if needed. Winter protection is not required as the plant is resistant to cold.
