Description
Appearance and development
Cypress macrocarpa 'Goldcrest' is an evergreen shrub with compact branching and a spiral silhouette.
We offer well-developed plants, grown in a container and suitable for year-round planting.
Suitable place
The 'Goldcrest' cypress is suitable for standalone planting in gardens, as well as for creating symmetrical compositions or representative green areas. It can also be used in garden pots.
Growing conditions
The plant prefers sunny locations and well-drained soil. Watering should be regular, especially in dry periods, to maintain optimal soil moisture. The cypress is sensitive to overwatering.
Planting and care
When planting, it is important to prepare the soil by ensuring good drainage. Watering after planting is essential to facilitate rooting. Regular maintenance pruning is necessary to preserve the spiral shape. In winter, during very low temperatures, protection is advisable.
