Description
Appearance and Development
Heuchera is a perennial flower known for its decorative leaves, which can be in various shades of green, red, purple, and yellow. The foliage is dense and forms beautiful rosettes, adding interest to any garden. In summer, the plant blooms with delicate flowers that attract attention and bees.
Suitable Location and Application
Heuchera is suitable for planting in partially shaded and shaded areas, where it can be used as accents in flower beds or in combination with other perennials. It performs wonderfully in containers on terraces and balconies, as well as in rock gardens.
Growing Conditions
The plant prefers well-drained soils rich in organic matter. Watering should be moderate, avoiding water retention around the roots to prevent rot. Heuchera is resilient to various climatic conditions and does not require specific care.
Planting and Care
When planting, ensure that there is enough space between the plants to allow the roots to develop. Water well after planting to help acclimatization. It is recommended to prune dried leaves after flowering to encourage new growth.
