Cupressocyparis leylandii 'Pyramidalis' 130-150cm

Appearance and Development

Leyland Cypress 'Pyramidalis' is an evergreen plant with a conical shape. Its leaves are small, scale-like, and rich green, maintaining their color throughout the year. The plant reaches a height of 130 to 150 cm when offered, and can achieve significant size at full maturity, depending on growing conditions.

Suitable Location and Application

This cypress is ideal for creating hedges, providing not only aesthetic value but also protection from wind and noise. It can be planted in gardens, yards, and parks, as well as in the landscaping of public spaces.

Growing Conditions

It prefers sunny or partially shaded locations, with well-drained soil. Watering is necessary, especially during dry periods, but it does not tolerate waterlogging. The plant is relatively resistant to various climatic conditions but should be protected from severe winter frosts.

Planting and Care

When planting, it is important to ensure sufficient space between plants for proper crown development. Regular watering is necessary, especially in the beginning. Pruning can be done to shape the desired form and maintain the density of the hedge. Winter protection is advisable in colder areas.
